The SK8 sail is a great sail for kids and beginning skate sailors who seek an easy accessory. SK8 is derived from a classic Cape Vincent skate sail. The Kitewing version takes advantage of tip wands to make the sail forgiving and compact when stowed. The frame folds up inside the rolled sail to a short package within the carry bag to be slung over your shoulder or strapped to a pack.
SK8 is all about ice sailing with skates. If the wind blows hard enough the sail can be used on hard fast snow with skis.
